Prohibited Items

Firearms and weapons of any kind are not permitted inside or outside the facility at any time, regardless of whether or not the person has a license or permit. Violators will be asked to leave immediately and is a cause for termination of the member agreement.

Smoking

Haddon Kitchen Incubator is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is prohibited throughout the facilities, including the kitchens, bathrooms, common areas, parking lot, and trash area. There is a designated smoking area outside, next to the gate, away from the kitchen door. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground.

Haddon Kitchen Incubator maintains a monitored smoke/fire protection system. Members or their associates caught tampering with smoke detectors will be asked to leave the facilities and their membership contract terminated immediately. Members or their associates who set off the fire alarm system as a result of smoking will be responsible for the fire department response fee and any associated penalties incurred by Haddon Kitchen Incubator.

Drugs and Alcohol

Haddon Kitchen Incubator is a drug-free facility. For the personal safety of all kitchen occupants, property liability requirements, and safe food preparation practices, alcohol, drugs, and any other intoxicating substances may not be consumed on the premises by any member or associate.

Intoxicated persons will be asked to leave the premises immediately. If removal from the premises due to intoxication results in forfeiture of remaining kitchen use time for the day, the member business shall not be entitled to a refund or credit for unused time. Repeated violations will result in termination of the member agreement.

Interference

Haddon Kitchen Incubator is a shared kitchen facility. Unless a member business has reserved exclusive use, there may be other member businesses using the facility at the same time. Scheduling of kitchen access is done with complementary activities in mind to minimize conflicting needs for space and equipment. Nonetheless, all users are expected to work in a cooperative manner and share equipment and space amongst themselves at all times. This includes music or other entertainment, phone conversations, and conversations between associates. Please be respectful of others in the facility and maintain a friendly but business-like environment. Members interfering with the productive use of the facilities by others will be asked to leave the facility. Repeated violations will result in termination of the member agreement.

Harassment

Haddon Kitchen Incubator seeks to provide a safe and inclusive work environment for all member businesses. As such we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment of any kind. Intimidating comments, repeated use of profanities, sexual harassment or assault, verbal or physical intimidation or assault will result in immediate termination of the membership agreement.

Removal of Property, Theft or Conversion

Equipment and property in the kitchen is intended for the shared use of all member businesses and may not leave the facilities at any time for any reason. Property brought into the facility by member businesses is to be used by the member business unless business associates indicate otherwise. Any member or associate who takes property belonging to Haddon Kitchen Incubator or any member business will be referred to law enforcement and have their membership agreement terminated immediately. The value of any items removed will be deducted from the security deposit.

Public Nuisance

Haddon Kitchen Incubator occupies a mixed-use area. There are residences abutting and above the property. Please be respectful of the neighbors by limiting traffic and noise in the utility area, parking lot, and sidewalk, especially at nighttime. No music or other entertainment is to be played outside the facility. Please keep phone conversations quiet and brief outside the facility. Please limit deliveries to daytime hours only. Repeated complaints by neighbors or law enforcement will result in termination of the member agreement.

Unlisted Associates

At no time may anyone not listed as a member associate enter the facility. All personnel working in the kitchen must be previously identified to, and cleared by Haddon Kitchen Incubator for access. All staff occupying the facility must utilize their individual access cards to enter the facility. Repeated violations will result in termination of the member agreement.

On-Site Product Sales

No member is permitted to sell any items manufactured, prepared, or brought into the facilities on premises outside of a designated promotional event. We intend to periodically hold public events and markets to help market your business, including on-site sales, however, Haddon Kitchen Incubator is not licensed as a retail store and is not open to the public during kitchen operating hours.
