Haddon Kitchen Incubator is a 24/7 facility. Member safety is of utmost importance. Please adhere to the access procedures and promptly report and prohibited activities as these procedures are designed for the safety and security of all building occupants.
Keep all doors secured and do not let anyone into the building for any reason. All members and their associates and all Haddon Kitchen Incubator staff have their own assigned access cards. Delivery personnel come at scheduled hours with staff prepared to receive them.
Be smart about your personal safety. Do not bring valuables with you. Lock your vehicle. Park in our lot by the kitchen door. Keep your access card, keys and phone on you at all times, even if you just run out to your vehicle to retrieve something.
If you feel you are in an unsafe situation while on the premises, leave the building immediately. There are multiple exits, including the double event doors on White Horse Pike. They are secured by a thumbscrew tumble lock and can be opened from the inside without a key.
Your safest option is to evacuate to a populated area. Cross White Horse Pike and evacuate to the Wawa which is open 24/7. Call 911 once inside the store.
Please DO NOT pull the fire alarm in response to a personal safety threat. That will summon the fire department, not the police. There will also be a delay while the monitoring company attempts to validate the alarm. You will receive help more quickly by evacuating to a populated area and calling 911 directly.
